Job summary

PRT Growing Services Ltd. in Hubbard, Oregon is seeking a full-time Forest Seedling Operations Manager to lead daily seedling production, oversee the growing team, and ensure safety and quality across 27 nurseries and 14 seed orchards.

You will develop nursery work plans, monitor productivity, manage budgets, and substitute for the Nursery Manager when needed. A Bachelor's degree in horticulture/agriculture/forestry and 3+ years of nursery leadership are required.

• Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to handle pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the nursery operations team to meet production targets.
• Develop and implement a nursery operating work plan with budgeting and material planning.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, and quality, and adjust schedules as needed.
• Ensure safety, legal compliance, and adherence to best practices.
• Substitute for the Nursery Manager in their absence; oversee maintenance and improvements.
