Job summary

Oregon State University invites applications for one or more fixed-term, non-tenure-track Instructors to teach on a term-by-term basis for the 2025-2026 academic year in the Department of Forest Ecosystems and Society. Positions may be full- or part-time and may renew annually at the department head’s discretion.

Instructors may teach NR or TRAL undergraduate courses or graduate courses in MNR, SNR, and FCC programs, with courses on campus or via E-campus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (M.A./M.S) or higher in Forestry, Natural Resources, environmental or related field.
• Teaching experience at the college or university level.
• Ability to design, teach and assess courses that support inclusive learning and equitable teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present teaching materials; create and grade assignments, quizzes, and exams; assess grades; and hold office hours.
• Teaching may be on campus or via e-campus during the 2023-2024 academic year.
