Job summary

Oregon State University’s Biological & Ecological Engineering department seeks one or more fixed-term, non-tenure-track instructors to teach on a term-by-term basis for the 2026-2027 academic year. Some appointments may be renewed or transitioned to instructional roles at the department head’s discretion.

Qualifications

• MA/MS or higher in Ecological, Environmental or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Teaching experience at the college or university level.
• Evident commitment to inclusive excellence and educational equity.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses on a term-by-term basis (in-class, Zoom, or eCampus).
• Schedule Organize Lab courses and field trips as needed.
• Grade assignments and homework for each course.
• Coordinate with Head Advisor to collect required course documentation for accreditation.
