Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Little Rock, AR seeks a Foreperson to supervise daily line-work crews, plan work orders with management, and enforce safety protocols on site. You will troubleshoot routine job-site issues and mentor crew members while coordinating with property owners to gain access and ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role focuses on training, performance monitoring, records maintenance, and cost control to deliver reliable service and strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work with independence and minimal supervision.
• Valid CDL and safe driving ability.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to travel for storm work.
• Must be 18+ and have HS diploma or GED; Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders.
• Conducts field training/retraining for crew on job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies.
• Discusses issues with property owners and refers complex cases to supervisor.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains customer relations through effective completion of work.
• Investigates incidents and minor damage claims as needed.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and crew reports.
• Controls crew costs and optimal use of people and equipment.
• Furnishes reports on orders completed, units, and crew time.
• Cooperates with police and fire departments when blocking streets.
• Sets up barriers and safety measures to protect workers and the public.
• Inspects and arranges repairs for tools and vehicles.
• Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and job sites.
• Responsible for DOT maintenance and inspection on vehicles.
• Keeps informed on equipment and company policies; requests repairs when needed.
