Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to lead daily crew operations, coordinating with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols. You will troubleshoot site issues, train crew members, and mentor staff to ensure efficient progress.

The role emphasizes enforcing OSHA-compliant safety practices, maintaining equipment, and managing job records while maintaining strong customer relations and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Able to adapt to field requirements and take independent action without close supervision.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Physical capability to perform duties including climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working at heights.
• Must be able to travel for storm work.
• CDL required.

Responsabilités

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training per OSHA and company policies.
• Discusses with property owners issues such as access, power interruption, and work scope; refers complex cases.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains good customer relations through effective completion of tasks and professional conduct.
• Furnishes reports on orders completed, crew time, and incidents to supervisors.
• Maintains records and reports related to crew operations and costs.
• Inspects and arranges repairs for tools, trucks, and equipment.
