Responsibilities

Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for a Forensics Engineer/Project Manager to join our Diagnostics Group. The candidate will have relevant experience in acquiring Structural Diagnostics business, focusing on industrial or commercial structures. Project management experience is required.

The role involves managing technical production and contractual aspects of multiple projects related to restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and forensics. The engineer will also contribute to marketing, business development, and growth of the Diagnostics Group. Experience and interest in water infiltration, building envelope issues, and forensic engineering are preferred.

The ideal candidate should be energetic, self-motivated, and capable of working in a team environment, serving clients on major projects across the U.S. and internationally. Technical expertise, proactivity, and assertiveness are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures (preferred)
• 7+ years of relevant experience with proven growth
• P.E. license required; S.E. preferred
• Litigation/forensics experience and client relationships with attorneys and insurance companies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Customer service orientation

Position Details: This is a hybrid position, combining in-office and remote work options, with periodic travel to the office. The salary range is $106K - $126K in Seattle. The actual salary depends on experience, skills, and location.
