Senior Project Manager - Diagnostics

Responsibilities

The Senior Diagnostics Engineer/Project Manager will manage the technical production and contractual aspects of multiple projects focusing on restoration, rehabilitation, renovation, and forensics. This role involves business development within the Diagnostics Group, with experience in building restoration, parking rehabilitation, renovation, and building enclosure issues. The candidate should be energetic, self-motivated, and capable of working within a team to serve clients across the US and internationally, demonstrating technical expertise, proactivity, and assertiveness.

Job Duties:
  1. Preparation of proposals and responses for RFQs and RFPs
  2. Develop project tasks, review, and organize project documents
  3. Research building codes and industry standards
  4. Lead assessment report preparation
  5. Conduct field investigations, including non-destructive testing (travel required)
  6. Prepare repair/design options, drawings, and specifications
  7. Oversee construction and installation, including quality assurance testing
  8. Interact with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors
Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CAD and structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, RAM)
  • Expertise in building structural systems
  • Experience working at heights and on suspended scaffolding
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures (preferred)
  • 7+ years of relevant experience with growth
  • Professional Engineer (E. or S.E.) license required
  • Ability to secure new clients and generate business
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Customer service orientation

Hybrid Position Details

We offer a flexible work environment combining in-office and remote work. Candidates should be able to commute or travel periodically. A one-time $1,000 stipend and a $50 monthly stipend are provided to support home office setup and expenses.

Salary Range

$127K - $151K in Seattle. Actual salary depends on experience, skills, location, and internal factors.
