Job summary

Dean Dorton’s Forensic and Valuation Services (FVS) team seeks an experienced FVS Consultant to perform complex financial analyses and support expert testimony. You will lead defined sections of engagements, interpret data, and help develop expert reports and exhibits while mentoring Associates and managing project portions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field required.
• CPA, ASA, ABV, or CVA designation preferred (or actively pursuing).
• Minimum of two to four years of experience in public accounting, valuation, consulting, or forensic accounting.
• Strong technical foundation in valuation methods, financial modeling, and forensic analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/oral communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with legal counsel, external auditors, or expert witnesses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined sections of client engagements and analyze financial data.
• Develop expert reports and courtroom exhibits.
• Mentor Associates and manage portions of projects.
• Support senior team members in preparing testimony and trial materials.
• Translate complex financial findings into clear insights for clients and attorneys.
