Job summary

Dean Dorton is seeking a Forensic and Valuation Services (FVS) Consultant to perform complex financial analyses, develop expert reports, and support advisory engagements. You will lead sections of engagements, interpret financial data, and mentor Associates while contributing to knowledge sharing.

The role emphasizes leadership, client interaction, and continuous improvement within forensic accounting, business valuation, and litigation support services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field required.
• CPA designation preferred or actively pursuing.
• Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of experience in public accounting, valuation, consulting, or forensic accounting.
• Strong technical foundation in valuation methods, financial modeling, and forensic analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/oral communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with legal counsel, external auditors, or expert witnesses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined sections of engagements and analyze financial data.
• Assist in developing expert reports and courtroom exhibits.
• Mentor Associates and manage portions of projects.
• Support expert witnesses and senior team members in trial materials.
• Translate complex financial findings into clear insights for clients and attorneys.
• Collaborate with team across service lines to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
