Appsierra Group is seeking a Forensic & Toxicological Chemist – AI Safety Evaluation Expert to help design evaluation scenarios, assess AI responses, and write reference answers. This remote, contract role leverages your real-world casework experience to differentiate between legitimate requests and misuse.

You will develop prompts, classify prompts, evaluate model outputs against safety standards, and provide clear technical reasoning.

Qualifications

• Experience in forensic chemistry and toxicology.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex chemical safety concepts.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop challenging single-turn prompts based on your area of professional expertise.
• Classify prompts across benign, dual-use, and adversarial categories.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses against safety and policy standards.
• Determine whether the model answered, limited, or refused the request.
• Write reference answers explaining what a correct response should look like.
• Provide clear technical reasoning supporting each evaluation.
• Create scenarios reflecting boundaries between legitimate professional use and potentially harmful requests.
