Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Associate in its Forensic Technology practice to apply analytic and problem-solving skills to active cases and internal initiatives such as recruiting and business development. You will work with experienced team members on forensic engagements spanning fraud, money laundering, disputes, and data breach response.

The role emphasizes data analytics, ETL, and building insights with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; focus areas or analytics background.
• Experience with data analytics and data visualization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide data analytics services to clients, including regulators and litigation teams.
• Contribute to forensic engagements on fraud, AML, FCPA, disputes, and related matters.
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate effectively.
• Support ETL processes by extracting, cleaning, transforming, and analyzing data.
• Prepare high-quality client deliverables and insights.
• Audit own work and peers’ work to ensure quality.
• Work on international projects with potential travel.
• Develop expertise in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Python.
• Assist with non-billable practice development initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
