Job summary

EFI Global, a full-service engineering and forensic investigation firm, is seeking a Forensic Engineering Consultant to conduct investigations, failure analysis, evidence examination and report authoring to support claims, insurance matters and legal proceedings.

You will support licensed engineers and local offices, build expertise in specific disciplines, assist expert and sales teams with growth and industry events, and produce clear, well-structured written reports and protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Four years of structural engineering experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conducts forensic investigation (failure analysis, interviews, evidence examinations, evidence testing, research) and writes engineering reports.
• Supports licensed engineers and local office as appropriate.
• Builds expertise in specific engineering disciplines to advance skills.
• Assists expert and sales teams with growth and industry events.
• Writes, reviews, and co-authors reports, research, and protocols.
• Attends and presents internal technical training as knowledge grows.
