Base salary varies by role: Senior Clinical Case Worker up to 63,120.05; LCSW up to 78,264; LMSW up to 78,264. Salary may increase with retention pay or other differentials.
The Missouri Department of Mental Health is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or LCSW/LMSW-seeking Senior Clinical Case Worker to serve as a member of the Forensic Mobile Team. A qualified Senior Clinical Case Worker as described in the requirements section below must be pursuing LCSW or LMSW license to be eligible for this role.
This position provides specialized clinical services to individuals involved in Missouri’s forensic mental health system, including individuals adjudicated Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) who may be receiving services in county jails or in the community while on bond. This is a unique social work position combining forensic mental health, community-based treatment, jail-based services, court involvement, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The Forensic Mobile Team Social Worker works closely with courts, attorneys, county jails, psychiatric providers, hospitals, community behavioral health agencies, and other criminal justice partners.
This position will have a home office located at 1000 East 24th Street, Kansas City, Missouri. Traveling to jails, courts, community settings, and patient homes is required.
The base salary offered for this position is commensurate with education and experience. If the selected candidate is eligible for a pay differential, such as retention pay, the total salary may exceed what is listed in this posting.
