Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center has an opening for a Senior Clinical Caseworker. This position would be a social work position for our Adult Psychiatric Services portion of the facility. Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center is operated by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, and provides adult inpatient mental health services and sex offender rehabilitation services. Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center is a 348 bed Joint Commission accredited long term care psychiatric hospital that complies with the requirements of The Joint Commission (TJC) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach within which the social workers plays a key roles. All treatment approaches are evidence based. his is an advanced professional position accountable for providing clinical casework services to persons with mental illness and/or development or physical disabilities. Compiles comprehensive case histories concerning the clients’ social, environmental, and economic backgrounds for use by medical and other professional treatment staff. Also participates in admission, social diagnosis, prognosis, progress review, research, community placement, and aftercare planning with an interdisciplinary team and other service agencies.
Typical qualifications
