Job summary

The University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support the Quality Management team at the Center for Human Identification in Fort Worth. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include assisting with quality documentation, monitoring quality incidents, and supporting training initiatives.

The ideal candidate will exhibit strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, essential for ensuring adherence to quality standards within a forensic DNA laboratory.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and two (2) years of experience, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
• Forensic DNA laboratory technical and/or quality assurance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quality assurance and quality control documentation under direction.
• Assist with documentation and monitoring of quality incidents and corrective actions.
• Assist with notifications to legal stakeholders.
• Import and organize QA and QC documentation into Qualtrax.
• Assist with Quality Working Group meetings and projects.
• Assist with internal audits and review processes.
• Assist with lab safety-related training for lab employees.
• Assist with equipment assessments and quality checks.
• Assist with inventory audits for equipment and supplies.
