The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) is offering a limited-term Post-Doctoral Psychology Assistant fellowship to advance the psychology workforce across regional psychiatric hospitals.

You will engage in advanced forensic psychology activities, including evaluations, risk assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning, while collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses to coordinate patient care.

Qualificações

• Doctoral degree in Psychology with psychology pre-doctoral internship.
• Forensic psychology exposure is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Gain advanced skills in forensic psychology within regional behavioral health hospitals.
• Conduct psychological evaluations, including cognitive and personality assessments and risk assessments.
• Assist in diagnosing mental health conditions and in developing and implementing treatment plans; provide clinical interventions.
• Involve in court-ordered forensic assessments, observing testimony, consultation, and supervision as appropriate.
