Job summary

Arizona State Hospital in Phoenix seeks a licensed psychologist to provide individual and group therapy to residents identified as Sexually Violent Persons, under ACPTC. You will develop group curricula, conduct risk assessments, and participate in multidisciplinary staffing.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and licensure in AZ or eligibility within one year.
  • Must have a valid level one fingerprint clearance.

  • Must have valid driver’s license if driving is an essential function.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological treatment and counseling (individual and groups) and conduct evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain treatment plans, progress notes, and case summaries.
  • Conduct research and present case studies to psychology staff; collaborate with outside professionals.
  • Provide supervision to doctoral interns and practicum students; assist with quality oversight.
