The position will provide direct care and treatment to residents adjudicated as Sexually Violent Persons, upon release from incarceration. All admissions and discharges from ACPTC are court ordered. The position provides court ordered services, medical, dental, and behavioral health including counseling and medication. Staff work on a rotating schedule and may be required to work any day of the week to meet the needs of the treatment center and residents. - This position requires incumbent to have and maintain a current Arizona RN license
The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of progressive responsibility in a security and/or behavioral health setting, preferably in a mental health care facility or in hospital/institutional security, or law enforcement work experience.
Must possess a valid and current RN license to practice in Arizona.
Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR and NVCI certification.
A State Hospital employee must possess a valid level one fingerprint clearance card issues pursuant to A.R.S.41-1758.07.
