Qualifications

• Completion of a residency in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology AND a fellowship in Forensic Pathology or equivalent training approved by the American Board of Pathology.
• California license requirement and board certification in pathology as specified in the selection requirements.
• Active California State Physician and Surgeon's Certificate and American Board of Pathology certification are required or must be obtained as stated.

Responsibilities

• Performs autopsy procedures and determines cause of death within Forensic Pathology.
• Directs forensic technicians in autopsy procedures and may train residents/fellows.
• Consults with staff physicians regarding medical and diagnostic work performed.
