Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Forensic Nursing team is seeking a RN to join the SANE program at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland. This night shift RN role offers trauma-informed care to children and adults, with a supportive multidisciplinary team and on-call responsibilities.

No prior forensic nursing experience is required; comprehensive education and mentorship will be provided, starting with adult patients and expanding to pediatrics. Training begins on orientation and shift start times at 7:00pm.

Qualifications

• Provide trauma-informed care to pediatric and adult patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patients and families.
• No prior forensic nursing experience is required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced follow-up services and resources to patients.
• Perform speculum exams and pediatric assessments under supervision.
• Utilize SAEC and DFSA kits for evidence collection and documentation.
• Interact with medical staff, law enforcement, and other agencies as needed.
