Job summary

ARCCA, LLC seeks a Forensic Mechanical Engineer to investigate and analyze mechanical failures for insurance and legal clients. The role includes vehicle and site inspections, use of 3D scanning, and preparation of technical reports and expert testimony.

Strong communication and litigation-readiness are essential. Preferred location is Penns Park, PA, with possible consideration of other qualified locations.

Qualifications

• Masters in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Bachelors considered.
• PE licensure in one or more states; EI/EIT considered.
• Willingness to work in a litigation setting and provide expert testimony.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in safety equipment a plus (machine guarding, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle, site, and evidence inspections using 3D scanning technology and collect data.
• Conduct investigations to analyze equipment failures.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients and technical conferences.
• Enhance knowledge through continuing education and technical publications.
• Prepare technical reports and provide expert testimony as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
