Job summary

Axis Forensic Toxicology, Inc. is seeking a data entry focused role within the Accessioning/Data Entry/Aliquoting department. The role includes entering demographic information into the LIMS, ordering testing, and preparing initial qualitative aliquots, with cross training possible in other lab areas.

Qualifications

• Prefer at least a 2 year degree in a life science.
• Certificates, licenses, registrations may apply.
• None required could be sufficient depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Quantitatively aliquots blood and urine specimens for testing.
• Quantitatively aliquots controls and standards for testing.
• Performs liquid-liquid, solid-phase, and protein precipitation extractions.
• Performs proper disposal of specimens.
• Data entry of casework into the system.
• Contributes to improvement of analytical methodologies.
• Adheres to SOPs and safety procedures.
• Completes assignments based on priorities and deadlines.
• Identifies issues that may affect test performance and actions accordingly.
• Seeks opportunities to improve quality.
