Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center seeks a Forensic Laboratory Technical Manager serving as Instructor of Pathology in Dallas county, Southwestern Forensic Sciences Institute. The role designs and maintains laboratory procedures, supervises staff, and ensures technical quality across operations.

The candidate will hold a full-time UT Southwestern position with potential parallel duties at Dallas County, with a stipend for the part-time post. A Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing laboratory technical and quality procedures.
• Ability to oversee section quality management and supervise staff.
• Experience in developing new or maintaining existing laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, evaluate and implement lab procedures for residents and fellows.
• Ensure adherence to technical processes and quality standards.
• Supervise professional, technical and administrative personnel.
• Coordinate with Dallas County and UT Southwestern for joint appointments and duties.
