Job summary

Impact Forensics, PLLC is seeking an Engineer to join its Buildings & Infrastructure Group in Apex, NC. This full-time role focuses on design, construction, inspections, and forensic investigations within a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has 7–20 years of relevant experience, an accredited degree in Civil/Structural/Architecture, and NC licensure (PE/AIA/GC). Strong writing and communication skills are essential for client reports and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7 to 20 years of experience with design, construction, inspections, and/or forensic investigations.
• Background in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Accredited Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural/Architecture fields.
• NC professional licensure (PE, AIA, or GC qualifier).
• Experience with commercial, institutional, residential, roadway, or stormwater projects.
• Strong technical writing, time management, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7 to 20 years of experience with design, construction, inspections, and/or forensic investigations

• Accredited Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture
• NC professional licensure (PE, AIA, or GC qualifier capabilities)
• Qualified work experience with commercial, institutional, residential, roadway, or stormwater projects
