Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering, or Architecture from an accredited program (other degrees considered based on relevant experience)
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE), NCARB Registered Architect, or similar industry certification
• 10+ years of experience in engineering or forensic investigations
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage forensic investigations, assessments, and expert witness assignments
• Prepare accurate technical reports, repair documents, and occasionally provide expert testimony
• Lead multi-discipline or large-loss investigations involving other staff and external consultants
• Develop repair design solutions for damaged and deteriorated structures
• Manage multiple assignments concurrently while ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Delegate tasks and mentor production staff for maximum productivity and profitability
