Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an intern in its Forensic Technology practice to gain hands-on experience across fraud, AML, and data breach response. You will work with SQL, Python, R, Power BI and Tableau on active cases and internal initiatives, learning from senior team members who provide direction and coaching.

The role emphasizes data analytics, problem solving, and professional presentation of findings, while maintaining confidentiality and high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, required.
• Degree focus in Accounting, Analytics, CS, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Information Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide data analytics services to clients including outside counsel, regulators, and companies involved in litigation and investigations.
• Contribute to forensic engagements related to fraud, AML, FCPA, disputes, and regulatory matters.
• Support ETL processes by forensically extracting, cleaning, and transforming data for analytics on large datasets.
• Assist in preparing high-quality client deliverables and insights.
• Translate complex data into clear business observations.
