The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD is seeking a Forensic Clinical Court Interviewer (FCCI) in Houston, TX. The role conducts clinical interviews, screens and assesses in 16.22 reporting, with potential deployment to Harris County Jail or Courts.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in human services and at least 2 years in mental health; strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills are essential for accurate records and a collaborative team approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (psychology, sociology, etc.).
• Two years of mental health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical interviews to determine mental health status.
• Completes reporting in an accurate and timely manner as designated.
• Documents findings in the medical record within required deadlines.
• Communicates with court staff, consumers and staff with sensitivity to diversity.
• Performs related work and adapts to changing requirements.
• Maintains ethical conduct in clinical and professional activities.
