Job summary

The State of Oklahoma is seeking a Forensic Competency Field Representative within ODMHSAS. This full-time role coordinates and monitors forensic competency programming across designated areas, ensuring compliance with state statutes and reporting requirements.

You will provide technical assistance on data collection, help reach target populations, and train partner providers on reporting and records maintenance, contributing to program quality and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child welfare, or related fields.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for each year of education.

Responsibilities

Compensation: $24.64hr/$51,250.00yr


This position works within the Justice Services division of Central Administration, ODMHSAS. The incumbent will coordinate, monitor, and perform a wide range of functions supporting forensic competency programming within the assigned area of the State. This position will assure quality and compliance with Oklahoma State Statutes; provide technical assistance supporting data collection; assist in reaching the optimum target populations and assists contracted providers in the proper reporting of activity and maintenance of required records. Additional work duties consist of formal training of program partners.

Minimum Qualifications And Experience


  • Master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation;

  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of additional qualifying experience for each year of the required education.

  • Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license
