Job summary

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services seeks a Forensic Competency Field Representative to support forensic competency programming within its Justice Services division. The role coordinates activities, ensures statutory compliance, and provides data support across the assigned area.

Responsibilities include training program partners and assisting contracted providers with reporting and record-keeping.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of additional qualifying experience for each year of the required education.

Forensic Competency Field Representative
About the Position

This position works within the Justice Services division of Central Administration, ODMHSAS. The incumbent will coordinate, monitor, and perform a wide range of functions supporting forensic competency programming within the assigned area of the State. This position will assure quality and compliance with Oklahoma State Statutes; provide technical assistance supporting data collection; assist in reaching the optimum target populations and assists contracted providers in the proper reporting of activity and maintenance of required records. Additional work duties consist of formal training of program partners.

Job Type/Salary
  • Full-time
  • Annual Salary is $51,250.00
  • Primary Working Hours are M-F; 8-5
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver's license
