Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Experience providing treatment to adults and/or juveniles with history of sexually abusive, DV or Substance Abuse behaviors.
• Demonstrated understanding of the therapeutic process and commitment to helping clients achieve treatment goals.
• Dedication to preventing further sexual victimization and ability to address difficult issues with a challenging population.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage difficult client discussions.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes & assessments for forensic clients including screenings and interviews.
• Provide forensically informed support services to individuals experiencing mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and/or behavioral instability.
• Comprehensive Case Management with accurate, timely documentation per policies and standards.
• Maintain 60-65% direct clinical contact delivering psychotherapy to forensic clients.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while maintaining ethical standards.
• Maintain professional composure and confidentiality in high-stress situations.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
