Qualifications

• Must hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering and be a licensed P.E. in the state of employment or able to obtain quickly.
• Typically 2–10+ years of civil engineering experience, with project management and field investigation preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical reports, drawings and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Perform investigations and analyses of residential, commercial, and industrial properties to resolve legal matters.
• Conduct field investigations and document on-site conditions, including interviews and testing oversight.
• Prepare oral and written reports detailing causes of failure, extent of loss, and remediation scope.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with other experts to deliver client reports on time.
• Ensure safety diligence and maintain relationships with clients throughout engagements.
