Job summary

Generations Healthcare, at Claremont Hacienda, seeks a compassionate Behavioral Health Clinician to support justice-involved adults in a locked subacute MHRC. The role centers on competency restoration, assessments, and structured therapy in a secure setting.

You will deliver psychotherapy, contribute to individualized treatment plans, and coordinate with Probation, Public Defenders, and MHRC staff to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
• Current California licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) or current registration as AMFT, APCC, ASW with the BBS.
• One year of behavioral health experience required; justice-involved populations preferred.
• Licensed clinicians must be approved to provide supervision through the BBS.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial and forensic-informed assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with competency restoration goals.
• Maintain caseload of 25 clients for weekly individual sessions.
• Deliver weekly individual and group therapy focusing on symptom management and legal education.
• Provide competency restoration interventions and crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
