Job summary

Liberty Healthcare operates a specialized forensic mental health program located within the Maguire Correctional Facility – a San Mateo County jail in Redwood City, CA. The Clinician will provide one-to-one, in-person services to program clients on-site, conduct psychosocial and risk assessments, and support competency restoration training.

Documentation is in Liberty’s electronic health record system and collaboration with security staff is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing services to program clients one-to-one, in-person, and onsite at the facility
• Conducting Psychosocial and risk assessments
• Providing brief treatment primarily focused on symptom management, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention
• Supporting clients with competency restoration training and education
• Documenting services and client status in Liberty’s electronic health record system
• Participating in treatment team and other meetings
• Collaborating with clinical, ancillary and security staff
