Job summary

The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD is seeking an Administrative Support Services Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of Forensic Services in the HCSO Jail. You will supervise staff, manage vendors, and ensure timely reporting and compliance with standards in a time-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
• Minimum five (5) years general clerical experience required.
• Must have valid Texas Driver’s License and be insurable under agency policy.
• Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills including data entry, word processing, Excel spreadsheets and other agency required competencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Administrative Services division staff and its operations.
• Serves as liaison between HCSO and contracted services and creates work orders/requests.
• Assists IT with troubleshooting computer equipment and network issues.
• Schedules appointments and organizes meetings for senior directors and handles calendars.
• Maintains unit employee records/files/documents and processes P‑Card purchases.
