Job summary

Actus Nutrition is seeking a Dryer Operator for the night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) in Wisconsin. Pay starts at $27.50 per hour, with an additional $0.50 per hour night shift differential. Responsibilities include operating dryer equipment, monitoring readings, and performing CIP and maintenance tasks.

You must be able to handle 50-pound bags of lime and obtain forklift certification. The role demands safety-conscious, independent work and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely perform physically demanding, hands-on production and cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work independently and follow established safety and operating procedures.
• Ability to manually handle 50-pound bags of lime as required.
• Ability to obtain required company forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor dryer equipment, tanks, and Honeywell controllers.
• Add lime to adjust product pH, including manually handling 50-pound bags.
• Record required production readings each hour.
• Perform manual dryer cleaning using tools such as an air hammer.
• Operate CIP systems and use cleaning chemicals to clean equipment and finisher stacks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Operate a company forklift after completing required certification.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist maintenance personnel with repairs as needed.
• Complete additional production, cleaning, and operational duties as assigned.
