Job summary

Lignetics in Wisconsin is seeking a Dryer Operator for the 3rd shift (11pm–7am). You will operate a Rotary Dryer, monitor temperatures, regulate moisture, and complete daily reports. A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required. Pay is $22–$24/hour plus a $2.50 shift differential.

Must lift up to 80 lbs and stand up to 12 hours; forklift certification and production experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years production experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Willingness to pass forklift certification.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and stand for long shifts.
• Ability to perform simple math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate Rotary Dryer, monitor inlet/outlet temperatures and bin levels.
• Feed dryer reclaim bin with a front end loader.
• Regulate material moisture and maintain specified limits.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, spot fires and hot bearings.
• Maintain sawdust feed rate and complete daily temperature/report checks.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Salary:

$22-$24/hour + $2.50 shift differential

Dryer Operator

• Operate Rotary Dryer, monitor dryer inlet and outlet temperatures per specification, overseeing and monitoring bin levels.
• Feed dryer reclaim bin using a front end loader.
• Regulate material mix to obtain the optimal moisture and, keeping material moisture under specified limits.
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, spot fires, and hot bearings.
• Maintain sawdust feed rate,
• Complete a daily report detailing temperature readings, dried material moisture, and perform moisture checks per specifications.
• Perform additional task as required

Pellet Mill Operation And Dryer Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• One to two years production experience in an industrial setting highly preferred
• Requires working knowledge of all aspects of the production process
• Process Controls Experience a plus
• Will need to be able to pass the company forklift certification
• Will need to lift up to 80 lbs waist high and stand for up to 12 hours per day
• Will need to be able to use catwalks and climb ladders that connect catwalks up to 60 feet high and according to safety standards
• Highly focused to details.
• Will need to have mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Will need to have the ability to do simple math calculations
