Job summary

Actus Nutrition is seeking a Dryer Operator for our Adell, WI facility. The role runs on a rotational night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) and requires experience in dairy processing, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to handle varying smells and temperatures.

A $3,000 sign-on bonus and a pay rate of $28.50 per hour USD plus $0.50 shift differential are offered. Responsibilities include operating the dryer safely, tracing product lines, CIP tasks, and maintaining accurate production records.

Responsibilities

• Trace product lines from tote filling to product supply tanks.
• CIP D-tanks 1-6 in the D-alley and handle pipe connections.
• Operate dryer equipment per procedures, specs and safety rules.
• Maintain packaging, coding, tagging, labeling and storage of finished products.
• Maintain production/packaging records for efficiency, quality and inventory control.
• Collect sanitary tote samples for quality control per procedures.
• Weigh finished product totes and document on required paperwork.
• Operate forklift safely and record status on daily checklist.
• Report equipment or quality problems to supervisor and maintenance.
• Clean CIP of all equipment and work areas as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and assist maintenance as required.
• Complete any other tasks as assigned by management.

We are currently seeking a Dryer Operator to join the Adell, WI team. The Dryer Operator is responsible for running the dryer equipment in an efficient and productive manner. Ideal candidates will have previous manufacturing experience in a dairy processing environment, trouble shooting skills, able to tolerate varying smells and temperatures, and a willingness to learn.

Pay: $28.50 per hour USD +$0.50 shift differential

Shift: Rotational Night Shift, 6:00PM-6:00AM; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday one week and Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday the opposite week

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand and be able to trace product lines from the tote filling station to the product supply tanks.
• Able to CIP D-tanks 1-6 in the D-alley. (Knowledge of pipe connections and panel view screen)
• Be able to operate the dryer equipment in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate packaging, coding, tagging, labeling, and storage of finished products in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain accurate production/packaging records for efficiency, quality, and inventory control.
• Obtain sanitary totes samples for quality control in compliance with established procedures.
• Weigh finished product totes used during shift and document on required paperwork.
• Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner as defined by procedures and safety requirements and record operational status on daily checklist.
• Report equipment and or quality problems to the production supervisor, quality control and maintenance.
• Cleaning and CIP of all equipment and work areas as the position requires.
• Perform routine maintenance on the equipment and assist maintenance in the repair of equipment as required.
• Any other task required to get the job done and/or any other tasks asked by management personnel.
