Job summary

Star Construction LLC is seeking a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team. You will lead crews in installing and maintaining underground telecom systems, ensuring safety, meeting project timelines, and coordinating with supervisors and property owners.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of related experience and a High School Diploma or GED. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent with relevant work experience preferred.
• At least three years of related work experience; Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Assist in training crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Ensure safety policies, OSHA and DOT regulations are followed.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work and resolve issues.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members
• Read and understand blueprints
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
