Job summary

Globe Commlunications seeks a Foreman for our Telecom Underground team to lead crews in installing and maintaining underground telecom systems. You will ensure safety protocols are followed while meeting project timelines and coordinating with supervisors.

The role requires at least three years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for Globe Commlunications.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, or related work experience.
• At least three years of related work experience; Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines and safety standards.
• Assist with training of crew members.
• Read and interpret blueprints for underground telecom work.
• Ensure adherence to company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Communicate with property owners about work and resolve issues.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
