Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. is seeking an Equipment Foreman for our Telecom Construction team.

You will oversee crews, manage equipment and materials, and ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities include leading crews, operating heavy equipment, supporting the supervisor, and training team members while adhering to OSHA and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least three years of related experience.
• Previous Foreman experience preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment.
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed.
• Oversee and help with training of crew members.
• Help ensure safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations are followed.
• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork.
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, perform maintenance.

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed

• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• All other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
