Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to lead installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems on-site. You will ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while guiding less experienced crew members.

You’ll travel for storm response as needed, manage daily work orders, and support project delivery with strong leadership and hands-on expertise. The role is full-time and on-site with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent or relevant work experience.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• CDL Class A license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems according to codes and customer requirements.
• Ensure safety and regulate traffic flow on site while performing tasks.
• Work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders, and use hand/power tools.
• Provide guidance to crew and support storm-response travel on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks documenting productivity and safety.

What you’ll do

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Foreman Telecom Aerial is$27.00 - $32.00.
