Overview And Essential Functions

What You’ll Do…

• Install and repair aerial telephone cable
• Repair cut or damaged telephone cables
• Place telephone poles and anchors
• Use manual tools such as shovels, posthole diggers, and other hand-held tools
• Operate mechanized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators, etc.
• Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, safety barriers
• Flag traffic when required
• Work on special projects as assigned

Who We Are Looking For…

• Knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques
• Ability to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck
• 2-3 years of experience in aerial construction methods and engineering requirements
• Self-starter attitude
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Experience working in all weather conditions, including inclement weather
• Effective communication skills
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience
