Job summary

Juniper is seeking a Landscape Construction Foreman to supervise and work with a landscape construction crew in Bradenton, FL. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and quality on every project, directing equipment, materials, and crews to meet deadlines.

Experience supervising landscape construction, reading plans, and knowledge of plants, grading, drainage, and irrigation are essential. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions is required.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to read landscape plans and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations for landscape construction crew.
• Coordinate equipment and materials for each project.
• Supervise and train crew on installation techniques & safety.
• Maintain project schedules and deadlines.
• Oversee quality control on job sites.
• Safely operate loaders, skid steers, excavators.
• Timekeeping of crew hours on job sites.
• Ensure equipment/truck are maintained; perform misc duties.

Join our company, where we Welcome/Grow/Celebrate you at Juniper!Responsibilities:Overseeing daily site operations for landscape construction crewCoordinating the equipment and materials needed for each projectSupervising and training crew members on proper installation techniques, equipment operation, and safety aspectsMaintaining project schedules and completing landscape construction projects within deadlinesOverseeing quality control on job sitesSafely operating equipment such as a loaders, skid steers, and excavators to perform landscape construction projectsLoading/unloading cargo, heavy equipment, and planting materialsReading landscape plans and providing landscape material layoutsDaily timekeeping of work hours on job sites for crew membersEnsuring equipment and truck/trailer are in working order and properly maintainedPerforming miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedSkills/Requirements:Bilingual in English/Spanish preferredExperience with landscape construction projectsKnowledge of landscape plants, grading, sod installation, drainage work, and irrigationSupervisory experienceMust be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the dayMust be able to use hand tools and power equipment needed for landscape construction projectsMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.About UsJuniper is a full-service landscape design, build, and management company servicing the Southeast.
