Juniper is seeking a Landscape Construction Foreman to supervise a crew and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards. The role involves coordinating equipment, materials, scheduling, and maintaining site quality.

Ideal candidates will have landscape construction experience, knowledge of plants, grading, sod, drainage, irrigation, and supervisory background. The position requires outdoor work in varying temperatures and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Experience with landscape construction projects.
• Knowledge of landscape plants, grading, sod installation, drainage, and irrigation.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
• Must bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly during the day.
• Able to operate hand tools and power equipment for landscape projects.
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily site operations for landscape construction crew.
• Coordinating equipment and materials for each project.
• Supervising and training crew on installation techniques, equipment operation, and safety.
• Maintaining project schedules and meeting deadlines.
• Overseeing quality control on job sites.
• Safely operating loaders, skid steers, and excavators for landscape work.
• Loading/unloading cargo, equipment, and planting materials.
• Reading landscape plans and providing material layouts.
• Daily timekeeping of crew hours on job sites.
• Ensuring equipment and trucks/trailers are maintained.
• Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily site operations for landscape construction crew
• Coordinating the equipment and materials needed for each project
• Supervising and training crew members on proper installation techniques, equipment operation, and safety aspects
• Maintaining project schedules and completing landscape construction projects within deadlines
• Overseeing quality control on job sites
• Safely operating equipment such as a loaders, skid steers, and excavators to perform landscape construction projects
• Loading/unloading cargo, heavy equipment, and planting materials
• Reading landscape plans and providing landscape material layouts
• Daily timekeeping of work hours on job sites for crew members
• Ensuring equipment and truck/trailer are in working order and properly maintained
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Skills/Requirements

• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
• Experience with landscape construction projects
• Knowledge of landscape plants, grading, sod installation, drainage work, and irrigation
• Supervisory experience
• Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
