Job summary

Network Connex is seeking a Foreman to lead a crew in construction progress, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery of telecommunications tower projects. You will need to climb towers, supervise installation of antenna systems, and coordinate with supervisors for daily progress updates.

The role emphasizes leading a crew, ensuring certifications, managing materials, and maintaining safety standards across demanding outdoor environments. Willingness to travel and work weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related trade school education.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must be physically capable to climb tall structures (100 ft+) with 50 lb load.
• Willingness to travel including weekends.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the crew from project start to completion, ensuring safety and quality standards, budget, and timelines are met.
• Climb and work on telecommunications towers; install, replace, and repair antenna equipment.
• Direct and supervise installation/maintenance of wireless radio and antenna systems on towers/rooftops.
• Review build documentation and assemble materials; determine installation methods.
• Supervise on-site inventory tracking and material management.
• Perform tower inspections and audits as needed.
• Submit all on-site progress and closeout documentation on time.
• Train crew on safety/quality standards and CCDP.
• Verify crew certifications and skillsets for scope of work.
• Maintain issued equipment and report deficiencies.
• Submit daily on-site progress reports.

Summary

The Foreman will manage the construction progress and oversee the quality and safety of their crew members as well as be in constant communications with their supervisors to provide detailed updates on-site progress.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the crew from the beginning of a project through completion, ensuring safety and quality standards, budget, and timelines are met
• Climbing and working on communications towers; installing, replacing, and repairing antenna equipment
• Direct and supervise the installation and maintenance services for wireless radio and antenna systems on towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures
• Review documentation with the crew to prepare for the build, assemble the necessary materials and determine the required installation methods
• Supervise the tracking of all on-site inventory and materials
• Perform tower inspections, inventories, and audits as needed
• Collect, review, and submit all on-site closeout documentation per the deliverable timelines
• Training crew members on proper safety/quality standards to align with CCDP (Crew Career Development Program)
• Verify that the crew members have proper certifications and skillsets to perform the scope of work
• Maintain issued equipment and report deficiencies as needed
• Submit daily reports on-site progress with any potential schedule delays and or needed / missing materials

Preferred Experience

• 3-5 years wireless telecommunications industry experience
• 1-3 years supervisory experience
• Computer proficient
• Ability to perform fiber, sweep, and PIM testing
• Ability to operate aerial lifts, skid steers, and other heavy equipment as needed
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to the schedule set forth
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to motivate, lead, teach, and train on proper work and safety procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education
