Job description

As a Foreman with Stryker Electric, you’ll lead skilled electricians and apprentices to deliver top-quality, code-compliant electrical projects on time and safely. This role combines hands-on work with team leadership, troubleshooting, and collaboration with project managers to uphold Stryker Electric’s high standards in every installation and repair.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations at the worksite, coordinating tasks and assigning duties to electricians and apprentices.
  • Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and devices according to building codes and regulations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in industrial settings.
  • Conduct circuit tests and measure voltage, amperage, resistance, and phase displacement using electrical instruments.
  • Collaborate with other electricians and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
  • Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code.
  • Communicate with project managers to provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports on activities, labor hours, equipment usage, and project milestones.
  • Implement on-site safety protocols, perform inspections, and address any safety concerns.
  • Train and mentor team members in safety practices and construction tasks.
Requirements
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
  • 3+ years of experience as a foreman or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in construction methods, blueprint reading, and safety regulations.
  • Basic computer skills, able to email, download documents and edit simple forms.
Preferred Licenses/Certifications
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Journeyman License or equivalent experience.
  • OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain.

  • Effective communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
