DTB CONSTRUCTION LLC in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas is seeking an experienced Deck Building & Remodeling Foreman to lead a crew on residential projects. You will read blueprints, build decks, pergolas, stairs, and railings while ensuring on-time completion and staying within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of carpentry or deck-building experience.
• Previous crew leadership or foreman experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of framing, decking, rail systems, and exterior construction.
• Ability to read plans and lay out projects accurately.
• Experience with composite decking products (TimberTech, Trex, Fiberon, etc.).
• Knowledge of residential building codes.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift 75+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of 2–5 carpenters and laborers on residential projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Build custom decks, pergolas, roof structures, stairs, and railings.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Communicate with homeowners professionally throughout the project.
• Train and mentor crew members.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Coordinate material deliveries and equipment needs.
• Perform quality control and ensure work meets company standards and local building codes.
