Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Golf Course Foreman to direct maintenance of all areas as defined by the superintendent or assistant superintendent. This role reports directly to the golf course superintendent and requires supervising equipment operation and daily activities to uphold BrightView standards.

The Foreman will oversee staff, manage supplies, enforce safety programs, and ensure compliance with regulations, while representing BrightView positively in all interactions on and off the

Qualifications

• Knowledge of turfgrass management
• Knowledge of irrigation and drainage principles
• Proven leadership capabilities
• Ability to operate and train on all pieces of equipment employed at the course
• Ability to apply as directed fertilizers, soil conditioners, and other control products
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Direct the maintenance of all areas as defined by the superintendent or assistant superintendent
• Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment assigned to the course
• Supervise special projects as directed by the superintendent or assistant superintendent
• Manage and dispense supplies and materials to support maintenance activities
• Directly supervise and train golf course employees. Provide feedback on employee training and discipline.
• Identify problems and communicate promptly with the superintendent or assistant superintendent
• Protect the company's interest by an awareness of and compliance with all applicable regulations, includingcourse and company policies
• Administer all aspects of the BrightView Safety Program
• Represent BrightView Golf Course Maintenance positively and professionally, including attitude,appearance, and speech
• Maintain effective employee and public relations

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
• Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping, sitting

Work Environment

• This will work in outdoor and indoor work environments.
• Regular exposure to the outside environment, including rain, cold, sun, or night

Compensation Pay Range

$ 24 - $28
