Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Golf Course Foreman in San Diego to direct maintenance activities across the course under the superintendent’s direction. You will supervise equipment operations, lead projects, manage supplies, and train staff to uphold BrightView standards.

The role requires leadership experience, turfgrass and irrigation knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. You will work in both outdoor and indoor settings, promoting safety and professional conduct every day.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate and train on all equipment used at the course.

Responsibilities

• Direct the maintenance of all areas as defined by the superintendent or assistant superintendent.
• Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment assigned to the course.
• Supervise special projects as directed by the superintendent or assistant superintendent.
• Manage and dispense supplies and materials to support maintenance activities.
• Directly supervise and train golf course employees. Provide feedback on employee training and discipline.
• Identify problems and communicate promptly with the superintendent or assistant superintendent.
• Protect the company's interest by an awareness of and compliance with all applicable regulations, including course and company policies.
• Administer all aspects of the BrightView Safety Program.
• Represent BrightView Golf Course Maintenance positively and professionally, including attitude, appearance, and speech.
• Maintain effective employee and public relations.

The Golf Course Foreman directs the maintenance of all areas as defined by the superintendent or assistant superintendent. The Foreman reports directly to the golf course superintendent or assistant golf course superintendent.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Direct the maintenance of all areas as defined by the superintendent or assistant superintendent
• Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment assigned to the course
• Supervise special projects as directed by the superintendent or assistant superintendent

Education And Experience

• Ability to apply as directed fertilizers, soil conditioners, and other control products
• Valid driver's license

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
• Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping, sitting

Work Environment

• This will work in outdoor and indoor work environments.
• Regular exposure to the outside environment, including rain, cold, sun, or night

Compensation Pay Range

$ 24 - $28
