Job summary

Martin Marietta seeks a Foreman to direct and manage the aggregate operations at North Columbia Quarry in Columbia, SC. You will lead a tenured team to achieve production targets while maintaining safety, environmental, and quality standards, reporting to the North Columbia Quarry leadership.

You will oversee daily, weekly, and monthly plant activities, train hourly workers, and drive improvements in production processes in a large, ASCM-friendly, heavy materials environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years related experience.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental and production policies.

• Responsible for the planning and scheduling of plant activities on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to reach production targets
• Provides input to process improvements
• May participate in project or planning activities that go beyond day-to-day supervision of the team
